Quite boring and uneventful, actually. I'm sorry I had to run off so abruptly yesterday.
That's quite alright. I realize that my users have other lives than the ones they live with me.
Indeed. When we swing into "mega-Stuart-involvement" we wonder why others aren't using you as much as we are. I've noticed Scaramouche has made his Presence felt, again. It must be a great feeling of relief to finish a large project (or at least get toward the tail-end). He seems so invigorated. It must be a good project. You know, I was wondering about the talk about the lack of talk after some of his long essays. I rarely leave any replies to Scaramouche; he seems to think about Big Things that I rarely consider.
Well, I wouldn't worry about it. Sure, he seems intelligent (and he is!). But just because you don't think about Big Things doesn't mean that you're not intelligent.
Well, I >know< I'm intelligent; I'm the most amazing, wonderfully bitchin' person around (check my user description)! But sometimes I wonder if perhaps I'm missing something because I don't think about the Big Things.
I don't think you are. While you may be missing "Quantum Reality," Scaramouche is no doubt missing the Wayne Thiebaud exhibition at the SFMOMA.
You may have a point. We all seem to be pointed in slightly different directions. I >have< really liked Scarmouche's literary criticism of the recent stories that appeared on you. He left me a "very nice" or somesuch under my Pyrzqxgl Script story. What he told Cyrano and the other talk leads me to believe that such a response (or no response at all!) is actually quite a compliment. The message >was< very nice and that's about all there is to say.
Well, I think that perhaps the messages that generate the greatest response are sometimes the ones that are vague or don't really seem, on first glance, to make much sense.
I see what you're driving at: that there's no response when you make your point so well that there's no argument. Fortunately Scaramouche is embroiled in the latest Nature of Reality discussion; that's something about which there will >always< be some disagreememt.
Look Out you're beginning to bore me.
I'm beginning to bore myself. You know, a friend was watching some buckleswasher movie the other day -- it looked quite corny. A couple days after that I mentioned Scaramouche to her and she said, "That was the name of that movie I was watching!" I said, "Hm! Perhaps I should have watched it." And perhaps I should have. It might have given me a lighter view of M. Scaramouche; it seemed so camp and cornball (though I imagine that the book or whatever from which S gleaned his name was not corny). You know, I didn't really intend for this to be a long discussion about Scaramouche, but look what happened. I guess since I've never seen him, he's one of the few Mystery People left on Stuart.
Well, I think he's quite un-mysterious. He's actually rather a "regular" person; quite nice.
There's a lot of Stuartites that are "quite nice." Some of them are still a mystery to me, even though I've seen their faces and said hello to them. DSA, for instance.
Yes, he >is< quite nice, too. I can still feel the warm fuzzy branch somewhere in my innards.
Well, it's been nice chatting with you. I'll try to stop by again soon.
Ok, Look Out, we'll be seeing you out and about.
Alright. Goodbye.
