What to do with your FDP certificates

You may have received some FDP during the pot luck. If so, the chances are it was either in the form of FDP "bills" worth 1 FDP each (the little guys with fruit and Christmas decorations in the middle) or one-month membership certificates (worth 5 FDP each).

If you like you can turn them directly in to me, Nick Turner (either in person or in the mail) for the corresponding credit to your account. But there's a better thing to do that benefits the Net: give them to a friend or acquaintance along with a copy of Stuart's number and let him/her start up a new membership! In the future, all FDP certificates (of whatever form) will contain the numbers and addresses of import. For now, please spread the word!

The FDP you may have received are to be thought of as negotiable instruments among our little (big?) family. They are worth one dollar each (since that's their equivalent membership value) and can be redeemed through me for FDP in your user record or for a membership. In addition, any FDP you may show under message #7093 may be "withdrawn" in the form of FDP certificates at any time. I will be happy to mail them to you or supply them in person. Then you can give them as gifts or whatever you like... maybe just collect a complete set! (warning... there will be new designs each month!)

At any rate, the idea is to use these new tools to garner new members. Send them to people who deserve to try Stuart! Be sure to include Stu's phone number (if it's not on the certificates).
