why are you here?

Last night Jon and I were discussing the possible reasons that people use Stuart for their communications. The obvious (to me) reason is that it provides a fairly large base of intelligent and nice people that I, for one would be hard-pressed to find anywhere else. Why though, do you think that the other local boards aren't busier. The access is usually easier and the same people are available to communicate (and do) but they don't feel the same even when you talk to the same people. Any ideas why?
